OMV, Gazprom Sign Agreement in Relation to Achimov 4A/5A Negotiation

OMV AG said Friday that it has signed an agreement with Gazprom
PJSC to extend the final phase of negotiations in regards to the
Achimov stake until June 2022.
In October 2018, the Austrian oil-and-gas company signed an
agreement for the potential acquisition of a 24.98% interest in the
Achimov 4A/5A phase development for 905 million euros ($1.01
billion). The blocks are located in the Urengoy gas field in
Western Siberia.
OMV said any significant development until the
signing--particularly in relation to the effective date and
purchase price--will be taken into account by the parties.
