In the aftermath of AT&T’s blockbuster announcement of its plans to acquire T-Mobile USA, GoSolarUSA (PinkSheets:GSLO) management is hopeful that the market for its new Volt Solar Charger accessory for the Apple iPhone could soon be growing by millions.

AT&T is one of only two U.S. carriers that offer the iPhone, the world’s leading smartphone. The telecomm giant’s acquisition of T-Mobile USA would add 34 million subscribers to AT&T’s base of 96 million, giving AT&T 130 million total potential iPhone buyers.

“AT&T is the big winner here, obviously, but Apple stands to benefit enormously, too,” said GSLO President and CEO Tyson Rohde. “A lot of T-Mobile customers are going to want to switch to the iPhone, and any deal that sells more iPhones is good for GoSolarUSA.”

GSLO recently initiated mass production of the Volt Solar Charger, a cutting-edge new accessory designed to power the iPhone using renewable energy. The Volt attaches to the iPhone and extends the phone’s battery life using its built-in solar panel and 1500 mAh battery. It’s the only battery pack known to GSLO that is compatible with all versions of the iPhone.

GoSolarUSA owns the exclusive right to sell and distribute the Volt in North America, the world’s largest market for iPhone accessories.

“There is already an enormous market for iPhone accessories in the U.S., and AT&T’s acquisition of T-Mobile USA can only enlarge it further,” Rohde said. “The iPhone isn’t just another smartphone, it’s a powerful computing tool that represents a substantial investment being made by millions. We believe many of these iPhone users will also jump at the chance to invest in the Volt.”

Manufactured in both black and white, the Volt is planned to be available soon bundled with a one-year warranty.

GoSolarUSA is dedicated to aggressively acquiring, developing and marketing promising and potentially profitable technology. The Volt Solar Charger is a product of Xiamen Solar Electronics based in Xiamen, China. The iPhone is a product of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), which makes its wireless products available to the subscribers of AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) and Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ).
