Axis Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AXTG), a green technology designer, manufacturer and marketer of a proprietary line of energy saving and daylight harvesting electronic dimming ballasts for the commercial lighting industry, announced today that Amcor Electric, a full service electrical and communications contracting company operating in New Jersey, New York and Long Island, has been including Axis ballasts in many of its contract proposals. Recent proposals include requirements for Axis ballasts of over 5,600 units with additional bid proposals being issued on a weekly basis.

Amcor Electric, owner, Anthony Mormando, said, "As LEED-certified professionals, Amcor Electric has been benefiting in a renewed interest by companies in 'going green' when deciding on upgrading and retrofitting their current buildings to initial construction projects. An increase in interest in Daylight Harvesting is an obvious strong facet of our proposals because our clients have heard of the concept of using daylight as much as possible to reduce their energy costs. We have chosen to incorporate Axis ballasts as the daylight harvesting component in our business due to its easier installation, no need for additional components and, significantly, its lower cost. To date, we have proposed Axis ballasts in projects that, if all proposals were won, we would be installing over 5,600 Axis ballasts in the near future. And, on an ongoing basis, we respond to requests for project proposals that usually involve a need for dimmable fluorescent lighting."

Mr. Mormando added, "Our long term relationships with property managers and owners involved with a portfolio of buildings is helping us in proposing multiple projects. The heavy emphasis on energy efficient lighting by the Obama administration, further underscored in a press conference by President Obama today when new energy standards for lighting was announced, is beginning to take hold throughout the real estate industry. Cost effective energy efficiency is the goal and daylight harvesting is increasingly recognized as a solution by both the private and public sectors."

Rich Milano, LEED certified specialist at Amcor Electric, said, "Including daylight harvesting into our LEED certified projects is an obvious addition to the many energy efficient applications available to the LEED-certified project managers. Fluorescent lighting continues to be the number one utilized lighting in the corporate sector and the ability to control the light output and, therefore, the energy consumption, is a requisite addition to any serious attempt to reduce kilowatt hour usage."

About Axis Technologies, Inc. (www.axistechnologyinc.com)

Axis Technologies Group, Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary, Axis Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska designs, manufactures and markets a proprietary line of energy-saving and daylight harvesting electronic dimming ballasts for the commercial lighting industry. The company's target market is small to large commercial users of fluorescent lighting including office buildings, wholesale and retail buildings, hospitals, schools, and government buildings. The patented Axis Dimming/Daylight Harvesting Ballast is a new technology that transforms the standard ballast into a dynamic energy saving system that can reduce lighting energy costs by up to 70%. The Axis Ballast utilizes an individual photo sensor to automatically adjust the amount of electrical current flowing to the light fixture and then dims or increases lighting in conjunction with the amount of available sunlight. The Axis Ballast avoids "over-lit" conditions that increase energy costs by harvesting and utilizing free daylight from windows or skylights. As the amount of available daylight fluctuates, the Axis Ballast automatically keeps lighting "tuned" to the desired level in a designated area. Underwriters Laboratory has approved Axis products for sale in both the United States and Canada. The Axis Dimming/Daylight Harvesting ballast is priced competitively and is the only daylight harvesting ballast system that can be marketed as a replacement for a standard ballast. Numerous utilities have included the Axis ballast in their rebate programs offered to their commercial and government customers. Axis Technologies recently introduced an addressable fluorescent lighting ballast which enables utilities to manage peak load demand through the remote controlled dimming of fluorescent lighting of corporate clients.
