QBR.A Quebecor Inc

Further to articles published this morning in various newspapers about Quebecor Media's (TSX: QBR.A)(TSX: QBR.B) wireless spending plans, the Company would like to clarify that its plan to spend between $800-1,000 M over the next four years covers the cost of building out its network in Quebec, the operating losses expected to occur in the first few years following commercial launch and the cost of acquiring the spectrum, payment for which amounting to $555 M was completed on September 3rd, 2008.
