NORTH CHARLESTON, SC, Oct. 14, 2014 /CNW/ - The Article 6 Marital Trust
created under the First Amended and Restated Jerry Zucker Revocable
Trust dated 4-2-07 (the
"Trust") announced today that it has purchased 936,900
common shares of Canlan Ice Sports Corp. ("Canlan Ice")
(TSX: ICE) through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange at
a price of Cdn$3.10 per share.
Anita G. Zucker is the trustee of
the Trust.
The 936,900 common shares purchased by the Trust
represent approximately 7.02% of the issued and outstanding common
shares of Canlan Ice.
Prior to the transaction, the Trust owned
approximately 5.35% of the issued and outstanding common shares of
Canlan Ice. As a result of the transaction, the Trust owns
1,651,100 common shares, or approximately 12.38% of the issued and
outstanding common shares of Canlan Ice.
The common shares of Canlan Ice were acquired for
investment purposes. The Trust may acquire additional shares
Canlan Ice, subject to price and availability.
