CompTIA is the leading trade association for the world's information technology

awards recognise products, ideas and business models that break with

marginal improvements on existing solutions. In seeking to determine these
breakthrough achievements in delivering innovative software products to market,
each product is evaluated on:

- Impact of the innovation on software or the software industry - What practical
results (sales, users, profits, etc.) has the innovation had on a software
product or the software industry? The innovation must be new and have both a
current and future impact; and 


- How novel is the innovation - How does the innovation break with traditional
ideas or processes?

Winners were announced at CompTIA's Software Marketing Perspectives Conference &
Expo in Santa Clara, California. Gemcom succeeded against six other finalists in
the Most Innovative Vertical Industry Software category which was judged by a
panel of software industry experts.

highly-flexible web portal that draws upon a single source of integrated data.
The system provides role-based access to key performance indicators, reports,

recently signed agreements with two major Australian companies, mining and civil
construction contractor Macmahon Holdings Limited (ASX:MAH) and Australia's
largest iron ore contract miners, HWE Mining, for the implementation of Gemcom
