                               DIRECTORS DEALINGS


The Company has today been notified that James Donald Hanson, a non-executive
director of the Company, acquired 300,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the
Company ("Shares") on 29 July 2003, at a price of 17.75p per Share.


As a result of this transaction, Mr Hanson now has a beneficial interest in
1,610,909 Shares, representing approximately 3.33 per cent. of the Company's
issued ordinary share capital.
