HOLMDEL, N.J., March 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Vonage (NYSE: VG),
a business cloud communications leader, has received a second
patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for
innovations to its Adaptive Routing™ technology. This patent
provides additional coverage that further enhances the reliability
of message delivery to any device, worldwide.
Vonage's Adaptive Routing solution provides users with improved
deliverability, low latency, and overall stability when using
contextual communications services to send and receive text
messages. Together with its unique direct-to-carrier network, this
solution enables Vonage to continuously monitor multiple available
routes for delivering text messages, and to select the best route
among multiple options based on real-time, relative performance
data of each route.
This latest patented technology (Pat. No. 9,853,884) broadens
Vonage's Adaptive Routing patent coverage with a feature that
enables replacement of a primary route for message delivery with an
alternate route based on an automated risk analysis that indicates
whether the quality of the primary route is likely to decrease.
"For customers that need a reliable, global messaging solution
to deliver messages with speed and consistency, such as those in
the retail space, Vonage's patented Adaptive Routing solution
enhances the customer journey for a real-time and contextual
experience," said Omar Javaid, Chief
Product Officer for Vonage. "When it comes to message delivery,
customer experience hinges on reliability, and this technology
demonstrably improves our ability to route and deliver messages
around the globe at scale."
Vonage received its first patent for the Adaptive Routing
technology (Pat. No. 9,485,169) in December
2016.
