On May 9, 2023, VAALCO Energy, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its financial results for the first quarter of 2023 and guidance for the remainder of 2023. A copy of the Company’s press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

Earnings Release and Conference Call. As previously announced, the Company is hosting a conference call to discuss its financial and operational results on Wednesday morning, May 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time (11:00 a.m. Eastern Time and 4:00 p.m. London Time).

 

Dividend Announced. On May 9, 2023, the Company issued a press release announcing its quarterly cash dividend of $0.0625 per share of common stock for the second quarter of 2023 ($0.25 annualized), which is payable June 23, 2023 to stockholders of record at the close of business on May 24, 2023. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and incorporated by reference herein.
