Social
Diversity and Inclusion
TPG Diversity and Inclusion is driven by a committee comprised of members from different offices and business units, with varying tenures at
the firm. The committee was formed with the stated purpose of creating tangible, measurable action to ensure a TPG culture of diversity and inclusion and building a growing group of ambassadors who can drive discussion and action at the firm.
TPG believes that the quality of its investments and the firms ability to build great companies depends on the originality of TPGs
insights. TPG is committed to having a diverse, inclusive workplace to:
Foster diversity of thought;
Create an organization reflective of the breadth of the borrowers, investors and communities that TPG serves; and
Attract, develop, retain and promote the best talent, which is TPGs greatest asset.

TPG believes that sponsoring the success of every member of its team, including all ethnicities, genders and sexual orientations, with a wide
variety of personal and educational backgrounds, professional experiences and perspectives, makes TPG more innovative, more creative, and more effective in its overall approach. In 2018, TPGs Diversity and Inclusion Council formed seven
firm-wide affinity groups for veterans, women, LGBTQ+, Black, Hispanic, Asian and Greater Middle Eastern Professionals.
Employee
Training and Development
TPG conducts training programs for all employees, with a high-intensity focus on retention and training
managers, holding them responsible for the success of their teams.
Every TPG professional is required to complete comprehensive bi-annual sexual harassment training, to foster a safe and inclusive environment for all employees, as well annual, firm-wide unconscious bias training.
Employee Benefits
TPG
provides comprehensive and competitive employee benefits. Such coverage includes, but is not limited to, robust health insurance, retirement offerings, primary and secondary caregiver leave, phased back to work, fertility coverage and back-up child care.
TPG has enhanced its health and family benefits to make TPG a place where women,
working families and LGBTQ+ employees have the resources they need to build a long-term career. TPG offers gender-neutral parental leave, and TPGs health insurance benefits cover same-sex and opposite-sex domestic partners and transgender health care. To measure the quality of these changes, TPG participated in the 2018 Corporate Equality index, the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and
practices pertinent to LGBTQ+ people.
