What:
As the 5-month anniversary of Hurricane Sandy approaches, Toyota
will make a significant donation in support of ongoing relief and
recovery efforts in some of the areas worst hit by the storm. The
company will donate the use of a 4Runner to Bay Head's Saint
Paul's United Methodist Church to aid in transportation and
local cleanup. Another 18 Toyota vehicles will be donated to the
region's American Red Cross to support with relief transportation
for one full year. The donations are equivalent to more than
$100,000 in monetary contributions
and are in addition to a $1 million
donation made by the company to support Sandy relief efforts last
year.
Registered attendees of the event are invited to a light lunch
once the program has concluded.
