Wide selection of heavy equipment and trucks will
be sold in two-day unreserved public auction
MONTREAL, Nov. 22, 2016 /CNW/ - With the end of 2016 fast
approaching and the auction site quickly filling up with equipment
and trucks, the Ritchie Bros. team in Montreal are hard at work preparing to sell
more than 2,500 items at the final Montreal, QC auction of the year.
Over two days, December 1–2, Ritchie Bros. will sell a wide
selection of heavy equipment and trucks for the construction,
transportation, agriculture, mining, and other industries—including
135+ truck tractors, 210+ trailers, 25 loaders, 25+ excavators, 30+
compactors and much more. Every item will be sold to the highest
bidder on auction day, regardless of price—no minimum bids or
reserve prices. Other items being sold in the auction include a
selection of farm tractors as well as snow plow & sander trucks
and a range of utility trucks.
"With so many sellers looking to get equipment off their books
before the end of the year, and the range and selection of
equipment currently lined up in the yard, this auction is a great
opportunity for buyers to get the gear they need for the coming
year," said Serge Bergeron, Regional
Sales Manager, Ritchie Bros. "People can visit the site ahead of
the auction to test and inspect equipment and then choose to bid in
person at the site, online in real time at rbauction.com or by
proxy."
Assets will be sold for more than 400 companies from across
Eastern Canada, including
equipment from mine sites in North East Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador. Specific equipment highlights in the
Montreal auction include:
- Three Caterpillar D10 dozers
- Two Caterpillar 336EL hydraulic excavators
- A 2011 Komatsu WA600-6 wheel loader
- A 2016 Western Star 4900SF sleeper truck tractor
- A 2009 Caterpillar 16M VHP plus motor grader
