Graña y Montero Announces Awarding of New Contract

Graña y Montero S.A.A. (NYSE: GRAM) (BVL: GRAMONC1) (“the
Company” or “Graña y Montero”) a leading Engineering and
Construction company, announced it won the “Buena Pro” of the
Public Bidding for the concession of the “Operation of the
collection unit of the integrated transportation system of Lima”
for a period of sixteen years, in which it participated as a
consortium together with its subsidiary GMD S.A.
The concession’s purpose is the operation of the collection of
the electronic tickets, as well as the provision of the management
system of the fleet of buses for the seven corridors which are part
of the integrated transportation system of the city of Lima.
These corridors will begin operation in a gradual way throughout
the next years. The estimated maximum number of buses will be of
16,000 units approximately, with a daily flow of 8.8 million
passengers.
The estimated investment for the first three corridors which
will begin operation within the next few months is of US$ 24
million. This investment will reach an amount of US$ 100 million
once the seven corridors start operating.
