Amy Rell Named Provost for the College for Financial Planning

Amy Rell, Ph.D., is the new Provost at the College for Financial
Planning®—A Kaplan Company, effective immediately.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Rell,” said Dirk Pantone, College
president. “In her newly created role, she will serve as the
College’s chief academic officer, responsible for all
administrative governance for the faculty, curriculum, programs and
departments. This includes overseeing faculty development,
maintaining and strengthening academic resources, and enriching the
student experience.”

of the College, and that Amy is the perfect person to lead us in
this position.”
Rell most recently served as Dean for the Office of Global
Education at Regis University, and before this, Dean at the
Community College of Denver.
Rell received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish Language and
Literature from Tulane University; a Master’s Degree in Spanish
Linguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles; A
Doctor of Philosophy in Hispanic Languages and Literature from the
University of California, Los Angeles; a post graduate certificate
from the Chief International Officer Academy at Duke University;
and a graduate certificate in Women in Leadership at Harvard
University. She is a Fulbright Scholar and a member of Phi Beta
Kappa.
