Aptiv Plc (APTV) lowered its financial targets for the year Wednesday and said labor strikes at General Motors Co.'s U.S. factories will cost it roughly $250 million.

The auto parts company lowered its sales guidance to between $14.26 billion and $14.36 billion from its previous outlook of between $14.53 billion and $14.73 billion.

The company said it expects operating income between $1.53 billion and $1.55 billion, down from its previous range of $1.65 billion to $1.69 billion.

The company said the GM strike will cost its adjusted operating Income about $135 million, or 45 cents a share.

Shares of the company fell about 1.5% in premarket trading.
