Coeur Mining Recognized with Three Safety Awards

Coeur Mining, Inc. (the “Company” or “Coeur”)
(NYSE:CDE) (TSX:CDM) today announced that it has been
recognized by the International Society of Mine Safety
Professionals (ISMSP) with three national and international safety
awards for its operations in North and South America.
The awards were presented this week at the Annual ISMSP
Conference in recognition of the safety milestones set by the
Company’s Rochester mine in Nevada, the Martha mine in Argentina
and Coeur’s exploration group in Mexico. The awards are for the
period through December 31, 2012.
Safety Achievement Awards for 2012 include:
- Rochester mine, Lovelock, Nevada - 5
years and 1,391,385 employee hours worked without a lost time
accident.
- Martha mine, Gregores, Santa Cruz
province, Argentina - 1 year and 270,876 employee hours worked
without a lost time accident.
- Coeur exploration group, Temoris,
Chihuahua state, Mexico - 5 years and 266,147 employee hours worked
without a lost time accident.

The Martha mine ceased operating in September 2012. The
International Society of Mine Safety Professionals is an
organization dedicated to promoting the development of health and
safety professionals throughout the international mining community.
The achievements in safety are awarded at the ISMSP annual
professional conference.
