Nikki Haley Resigns From Boeing Board

Dow Jones News
By Doug Cameron
Nikki Haley has resigned from the Boeing board, citing her
"philosophical" opposition to any federal government support for
the embattled aerospace giant. The company disclosed the move in a
regulatory filing.
Boeing this week lodged an effort to win $60 billion in
financial support from a mix of public and private sources for the
aerospace industry.
Ms. Haley, a former ambassador to the United Nations and
governor of South Carolina, joined the Boeing board last April. Her
departure creates a potential vacancy on the board, with two other
directors due to step down and be replaced at the company's annual
meeting next month.
