ABX Barrick Gold Corp. (BC) (delisted)

LONDON--Gold producer African Barrick Gold PLC (ABG.LN) said Monday it has appointed Kelvin Dushnisky Chairman of the Board of Directors, with immediate effect, replacing Derek Pannell who has stepped down to concentrate on other commitments.

MAIN FACTS:

-Mr. Dushnisky joined the Board in June 2012; he is currently Senior Executive Vice President of Barrick Gold Corporation and a key member of Barrick's senior management team.

-Board will continue to consider opportunities for Board appointments, to ensure that it retains the appropriate balance and expertise to meet the Company's business objectives.

-Shares closed in London Friday at 268 pence valuing the company at 1.1 billion pounds.
