ADRs End Lower, Amarin and ArcelorMittal Trade Actively

International stocks trading in New York closed lower on
Wednesday.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts
ticked down 0.5% to 142.29. The European index edged down 0.3% to
138.01. The Asian index retreated 0.7% to 163.69. The Latin
American index lost 0.4% to 185.22, while the emerging-markets
index shed 1.1% to 277.99.
Amarin Corp. was among those whose ADRs traded actively.
The Dublin biopharmaceutical company slipped 1.7% after it said
Switzerland's Swissmedic has granted approval for Amarin's
fish-oil-derived drug Vazkepa.
Steelmaker ArcelorMittal SA edged down 0.6% after Itochu Corp.
agreed to buy a 49.6% stake in a company that holds a 15% stake in
a ArcelorMittal Canadian subsidiary.
