EBU Makes Use of RRSAT Facilities to Deliver World Cup in 4K Resolution to Asia

AIRPORT CITY BUSINESS PARK, ISRAEL--(Marketwired - Jun 23, 2014) - EBU, the provider of the largest live sports delivery platform to broadcasters worldwide, will be carrying over its satellite capacities worldwide all 64 matches in HD format and also all of the 4K television production of the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil. The 4K live coverage includes the matches on 28 June (Round of 16), 4 July (Quarter-Final) and 13 July (Final).

RRsat Global Communications Network Ltd.
