E.ON SE (EOAN.XE) said Tuesday that it is working with Microsoft
Corp. (MSFT) on a software solution to reduce energy consumption in
homes, with the aim of releasing the product at the start of
2019.
The German energy company said a single platform will combine
data from all electrical devices, simplifying energy management for
customers.
Among its features, the platform will allow customers to control
consumption in order to limit it to self-generated electricty, as
well as to trade electricty produced at home on the market.
