IMPCO/BRC Sign Contract Worth $3.0 Million With Daewoo Motor Italia CERRITOS, Calif., July 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IMPCO Technologies (NASDAQ:IMCO) announced today a contract between IMPCO/BRC and Daewoo Motor Italia. Under the terms of the contract, IMPCO/BRC will install their advanced Sequent fuel injection system on new vehicles allowing the Daewoo vehicles to burn clean burning propane gas (LPG). Installation of the fuel injection systems on the vehicles has started at the BRC plant in Cherasco, Italy. BRC and Daewoo have worked together successfully in the past, producing over 8,000 gaseous fueled vehicles for the Italian market. This new agreement will include five different Daewoo vehicles (Tacuma, Evanda, Nubira, Kalos and Lacetti), and is expected to generate US$3.0 million in revenue for IMPCO/BRC in the next twelve months.
