Item 5.02

Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

Fulton Financial Corporation’s (“Fulton”) Chief Accounting Officer, and Principal Accounting Officer for purposes of Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) reporting, is taking a leave of absence from Fulton. Mark R. McCollom, the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Fulton, will serve as the Interim Chief Accounting Officer and Fulton’s Principal Accounting Officer for SEC reporting purposes commencing immediately, and continuing until such time as the Chief Accounting Officer returns or a replacement is appointed. There are no additional compensatory arrangements with Mr. McCollom, beyond those disclosed in Fulton’s Proxy Statement on Schedule 14A filed with the SEC on April 1, 2021, in connection with his appointment as Interim Chief Accounting Officer and Fulton’s Principal Accounting Officer.
