CAMPBELL, CA , a worldwide leader in media management and ultra wideband (UWB) wireless technology, hired Michael Hudson, age 53, for the new position of Chief Technology Officer of the Semiconductor Group.

Since beginning his career at Intel in 1979, Hudson has been involved in the design and development of semiconductor products in the audio, media distribution, and consumer electronics industries. He has experience creating, leading, and providing technical direction to teams ranging from 2 to 150 engineers.

Most recently, Hudson served as Principle Engineer at NVIDIA where he was responsible for several cross platform architecture and strategic product initiatives. Before NVIDIA, Hudson founded and was CTO of AudioMojo, a developer of wireless home theater solutions. Hudson has also served as CTO of Diamond Multimedia where he was instrumental in the acquisition of technology underlying the Rio player, the first MP3 player on the market.
