Cirrus Logic EP9301 ARM9 Processor Links Yamaha Network Home Theater Receivers To Internet, Personal Computer Content

When designers at Yamaha recently searched for the right products
to enable connectivity within their new generation of network home
theater receivers, they turned to Cirrus Logic Inc.�s (Nasdaq:CRUS)
EP9301 ARM9TM embedded processor. The Cirrus Logic system-on-a-chip
processor provides the processing and connectivity muscle for
Yamaha�s RX-V2700 7.1-channel and RX-N600 6.1-channel network home
theater receivers. The receivers use the EP9301�s integrated
Ethernet controller, which allows consumers to access music from a
PC or the Internet, while the EP9301�s integrated USB port allows
consumers to play music from a flash drive or portable music
