--Apple has asked Chinese manufacturer Luxshare-ICT to double production of AirPods Pro earphones to 2 million units a month in China, Nikkei Asian Review reports, citing unnamed sources.

--According to Nikkei, the U.S. company has also asked both Luxshare and China-based GoerTek to increase output of the less expensive AirPods earphones at their factories in Vietnam.
