(WORDPLAY) comes ALL WORK ALL PLAY: The Pursuit of eSports Glory, a
new behind-the-scenes documentary that follows the ascent of
eSports, showcasing some the best pro gamers in the world as they
fight for the Intel Extreme Masters championship. On
July 21st in North America and again on 28th in
Europe the film will screen
worldwide as part of a live special event, preceded by a live
eSports showdown. Along with a live Q&A, top professional
StarCraft II players and gamers will battle it out in a 2v2
"Archon Mode" match.
Archon Mode is an all-new game
mode coming in StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void that lets
two players share control over a single base and units, allowing
them to focus on their own areas of the battle and execute more
intricate strategies. Currently in beta testing, Legacy of the
Void is the standalone final installment to Blizzard's gritty
sci-fi real-time strategy trilogy, StarCraft II.
All the excitement will be brought to you by a star-studded
talent line-up including renowned eSports commentators Nathanias
Fabrikant and Andre "Gretorp" Henchua. The event will be broadcast
on Tuesday, July 21 live to North
American cinemas at 5:30PM
PT/6:30PM MT/7:30PM CT/8:30PM
ET. The total length of the program will be 2 hours
and 30 minutes, with the live gaming event to kick off the event
for approximately 45 minutes and the feature film to follow for the
next 90 minutes. Tickets are on sale now. An encore
performance will be screened at select locations at 7:30pm local time in the U.S. on Thursday, July
