The Taiwan dollar that advanced to a 9-day high of 30.29 against its US counterpart in early Wednesday Asian deals reversed direction in the latter part of the session. The domestic unit is presently trading at 30.62 versus the US dollar, down by more than 1 percent. If the Taiwan dollar strengthens further, it may find target around the 30.04 level, the 20-day SMA for the USD/TWD pair.
