Airbus SE (AIR.FR) said Tuesday that it has reached an agreement
in principle with French, U.K. and U.S. authorities in regard to
investigations into allegations of bribery and corruption.
The European plane maker said the agreements are also made in
the context of compliance with the U.S. International Traffic in
Arms Regulations and are subject to the approval of the French
court, the U.K. court and the U.S. court and regulator.
For legal reasons, Airbus said it isn't allowed to make any
comment on the details of its discussions with the authorities,
which are the French Parquet National Financier, the U.K. Serious
Fraud Office and the U.S. authorities.
