French oil major Total SA (TOT) Thursday said a problem at a pipeline that pumps crude oil to its 117,000 barrel a day Feyzin refinery near Lyon isn't affecting the unit's output.

Swiss refiner Petroplus Holdings AG (PPHN.VX) said earlier Thursday it had shut one refinery and lowered output at another after a break on a pipeline operated by the Societe du Pipeline Sud-Europeen.

The problem is having "no impact" on the Feyzin refinery "neither on supply nor on the level of production," a Total spokesman said.
