                               Holding in Company

The Company was notified on 26 March 2003 by Standard Life Investments ("SLI")
that on 25 March 2003 it sold 255,000 ordinary 5p shares ("Ordinary Shares") on
behalf of Standard Life Group. Following this sale Standard Life Group has a
shareholding of 462,910 Ordinary Shares which represents 3.17 per cent. of the
Company's issued Ordinary Share capital. The Ordinary Shares are registered in
the name of Stanlife Nominees Limited.
