The following table lists unplanned and planned production outages at U.S. refineries as reported by Dow Jones Newswires. The information is compiled from both official and unofficial refining sources and doesn't purport to be a comprehensive list.

Exxon Mobil Corp. said on Wednesday it had restarted the FCCU and alkylation unit that had gone down on Monday. It also restarted its 344,500 barrel-a-day Beaumont, Texas, refinery after a nearly three-month turnaround, the company said on Monday.

Valero on Monday said the hydrocracker located at its Corpus Christi, Texas, refinery is back down for repair after an attempted restart last week. The company also said it was in the process of restarting the Aruba refinery it shut down in July 2009. The plant will use liquefied natural gas to reduce its utility costs.

Work at the fluid catalytic cracker Hovensa refinery operated by Hess Corp. (HES) is ongoing, a spokesman for the refinery said Thursday. He declined to say when gasoline-making unit -- shut on Dec. 9 for repairs -- would resume operations.

Tesoro Corp. (TSO) expects its Golden Eagle refinery in the San Francisco area to return to normal operating rates by Tuesday after experiencing a power outage last week, a company spokesman said Monday.
