MPC Computers Named Supplier of Sun Microsystems Products on Major Government Contract

State/Local Government Customers Now Able to Purchase Sun Products
on Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA) Contract NAMPA, Idaho
and SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- MPC Computers today
announced its certification as the supplier of Sun Microsystems
(NASDAQ:SUNW) products on the Western States Contracting Alliance
(WSCA) contract. WSCA is an association of states that provides
state/local governments with cooperative purchasing power for the
procurement of computer systems and other products. MPC provides
state and local government customers with award-winning PC
products, including desktops, notebooks, servers, storage products
and peripherals through the WSCA contract. In addition to the
company's own product line, MPC now also offers Sun products on
WSCA, including the Solaris (TM) Operating System. Previously, Sun
products were not available to government customers through the
