Sanofi said a second phase 3 trial of Dupixent met its primary endpoint with what the company said was overwhelming efficacy. Sanofi said its Notus trial confirmed positive published results from the Phase 3 Boreas trial. The Notus trial found that the treatment "significantly reduced exacerbations," and that treatment with Dupixent led to rapid and significant improvements in lung function for patients with the life-threatening respiratory disease COPD.
