U.S. health authorities recommended a pause in the use of
Johnson & Johnson's Covid-19 vaccine after reports of rare
blood clotting in recipients of the shot based in the U.S.
The Food and Drug Administration said in a tweet Tuesday that it
and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were reviewing
data involving six reported cases of clotting.
The FDA said it was recommending a pause in the use of the
J&J vaccine "out of an abundance of caution."
