colt sired by Tapit

April 9, 2018.

2017, Tapit

one in the United States and number two in the world for average
price of weanlings sold at

and a
median
price of $675,000. Tapit's
progeny
are highly desirable and only
few
weanlings ever come to market. For example, in 2017
only
three of Tapit's
110
foals
were
sold as weanlings and
since 2014 only 24 of Tapit's
485
foals were
sold as weanlings.

addition, Tapit
was
the leading sire by average price
at the
2017 Keeneland September yearling sale, with 17 yearlings averaging
