Following Germany’s decision to legalize personal use of cannabis, Curaleaf (USOTC:CURLF) is reportedly looking into listing its shares on a European exchange.
The Canadian company has been talking to exchanges in Germany and London, among others. However, given current restrictions the company would probably only be able to list on the Frankfurt exchange.
An article in the Financial Times says Curaleaf has stated in the past that it was interested in selling cannabis in Germany for recreational use, but it now plans to concentrate on the country’s medical cannabis market.
Germany recently legalized the possession of small amounts of cannabis for personal use.
