LOS ANGELES, May 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Retro Ronin,
creator of the forthcoming game and metaverse Voxelnauts, is a
proud supporter of the National Wildlife Federation and is
currently developing a virtual P-22 mountain lion to benefit the
National Wildlife Federation's efforts to #SaveLACougars.
Recently, "The Hollywood Bachelor" – the mountain lion known as
P-22, visited Retro Ronin's co-founder and President Jason Archinaco and his wife. Hours ensued
with the live, unfolding event going viral internationally.
"P-22 came into our life unexpectedly," said Archinaco.
"Warhol who was also from Pittsburgh said that everyone would be famous
for fifteen minutes. My wife and I believe that what matters
most is what you do with your fifteen minutes when you have
them."
Retro Ronin has already created a 3d model of the virtual
version of P-22 that will function as a pet in Voxelnauts.
P-22 will be offered on Retro Ronin's web store after the
Voxelnauts Kickstarter that is currently live ends. A video
of P-22 is available at:

"Although we wanted to raise money for the National Wildlife
Federation in our Kickstarter, Kickstarter's general rules prohibit
raising funds for charities to avoid issues," Archinaco said.
"Retro Ronin and National Wildlife Federation are exploring
opportunities to allow the virtual P-22 to support and build
awareness of the #SaveLACougars campaign."
The National Wildlife Federation's #SaveLACougars campaign seeks
to build an animal crossing that will provide safe passage for
wildlife over the 101 highway in the Los
Angeles area so that animals can properly breed in the
wild. Currently, highways restrict the flow of animals
causing inbreeding that threatens each with extinction.
Voxelnauts is a game that will allow players to craft items,
mine, explore, survive, colonize, create kingdoms and discover phat
lewts. Players will also be able to create their own planets,
lore and games that will operate in the universe all while
maintaining and protecting their own intellectual property
rights. The game will operate on Windows, Linux and Mac OS
systems, with future support for tablets and phones.
With twenty-one days to go, the Voxelnauts Kickstarter has
exceeded thirty five percent of the project's budgeted goal.
Retro Ronin seeks to incentivizing people to promote education,
reduce global warming, and assist in animal conservation efforts,
using a virtual world to make the real world better.
