The Company has received notification that the trustees of The White Young Green 
Plc 1999 Employee Benefit Trust purchased 27,000 ordinary shares of 5p each at a 
price of 427.44p per share on 9 March 2007 to satisfy option grants under the 
Long Term Incentive Plan.

The executive directors of the Company are potential beneficiaries of the Long 
Term Incentive Plan along with other employees and, as such, are deemed to be 
interested in this transaction.
