                     APPOINTMENT OF LADY ROBIN INNES KER



Taylor Woodrow plc, the housing, property, construction and engineering group,
today (June 28) announced the appointment of Lady Robin Innes Ker to its board
as a non-executive director, with effect from July 1, 2001.

Lady Robin, aged 41, was a non-executive director of Bryant Group plc until it
was acquired by Taylor Woodrow in March of this year.

She also has directorships with ONdigital plc, Fibernet Group plc, The
Television Corporation plc and is a trustee of Tavistock Trust for Aphasia.

Previously she was a director of both UBS Warburg and Dresdner Kleinwort
Benson where she advised on a number of high profile bids including HTV/MAI,
Central/Granada and LWT/Granada.

Dr Robert Hawley, chairman of Taylor Woodrow, said:
