                          Update on Softbank contract

In the Interim Statement for the six months ended 31 March 2005, it was reported
that, in December 2004, Softbank BB Corporation had negotiated changes to its
contract with Tadpole's subsidiary, StreamTheory, Inc. to reflect Softbank's
delayed rollout programme. Under the original agreement, Softbank were
contracted to place orders totalling $4.5 million during the six months ended 31
March 2005. The revised agreement called for orders of $0.2 million per month
from December 2004 to August 2005 inclusive, $1.3 million in September 2005 and
the balance of $1.4 million by December 2005.

Orders and cash receipts in the period December 2004 to August 2005 have been
broadly in line with the revised schedule. An order of $1.2 million was received
in September 2005, although to date no cash has been received in payment of the
related invoice dated 30 September 2005. Contractual payment terms are 45 days.
Orders for the balance of $1.4 million due by 31 December 2005 have not yet been
received.

While the directors have no reason to believe that Softbank will not honour its
volume commitment under the contract, uncertainty remains as to the timing of
receipt of overdue orders and cash. StreamTheory management is in discussion
with Softbank to resolve this uncertainty and further updates will be given as
appropriate.
