                            Pre-Close Trading Update


Phoenix IT Group plc ('Phoenix' or 'the Company', PNX.L), is pleased to announce
that in the six months ending 30 September 2007 the Group traded in line with
the Board's expectations.



The integration planning in relation to ICM Computer Group plc ('ICM') is coming
to an end and the implementation phase is commencing.  Whilst the integration
may cause some short term disruption, the Board remains confident in the
strategic logic of a combination of Phoenix and ICM and continues to expect the
Group to realise the benefits of the integration in the next financial year.



Results for the period ending 30 September 2007 and a detailed update on the
integration process will be announced on 22 November 2007.
