                    PARKWOOD HOLDINGS PLC
                              
                              
Following  the  announcement  in  July  that  Tony   Hewitt,
Chairman  and Chief Executive of Parkwood wished  to  resign
his  position as Chief Executive, the Group Board has agreed
to  the  appointment  of Andrew Holt, an existing  Executive
Director as the new Chief Executive.

Andrew  Holt,  age  43, joined Parkwood  in  1994,  and  was
appointed to the Group Board in October 1997.  He  has  been
responsible  for  successfully running the Glendale  Leisure
and  Grounds Management Operations.  He will take up his new
post  on  1st  May 2001, whereupon Tony Hewitt will  act  as
Executive Chairman.  In the interim they will work together.
