    Kenwood appoints Philippe Crevoisier to the Board

Kenwood  Appliances  plc, the kitchen appliance  company,
announced today that it is appointing Philippe Crevoisier
to the Board.

Philippe  Crevoisier,  a  French  national,  is  Managing
Director  of  Ariete,  Kenwood's  highly  successful  and
innovative Italian subsidiary which was acquired in 1994.
He  is  also responsible for Kenwood's sales in  Southern
Europe and South America.

Colin  Gordon,  Chief  Executive,  said  today:   "I   am
delighted  to  welcome Philippe to the Board.  Philippe's
international management experience and proven sales  and
marketing  ability will be an important addition  to  the
Kenwood  Board. This appointment represents another  step
in  the  programme of transforming Kenwood into an  agile
brand-led company."
