CHAIRMAN'S STATEMENT FOR AGM, 14TH JUNE 1999


The first five months of 1999 have shown that the
potential indicated in the Annual Report and Accounts
has begun to be realised.  In comparison to the same
point in 1998, turnover is some 40% ahead and the
order intake some 30% ahead.  Additionally, we are in
a favourable position to convert at least one major
contract in the forthcoming few months, news of which
I hope to be able to bring you soon.

As reported in the Annual Report and Accounts, it is
my intention to hand over the reins of Chairmanship
later this year.  We are in the process of
identifying the most suitable individual, and we have
a number of very able candidates in mind.
