Exercise of Warrants
London, 3 May 2006
Following this morning's announcement, Central China Goldfields plc has been
notified today that additional applications were received in respect of 215,000
warrants to subscribe for new ordinary shares (the "New Shares") at an exercise
price of 8p per share by 30 April 2006 deadline.
The New Shares will be issued and allotted and they will rank pari passu with
the existing Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company. Trading of the New
Shares on AIM is expected to commence on 9 May 2006.
The total number of shares in issue following this exercise of warrants will be
77,929,181.
The total number of 10p warrants exercisable up to 30 April 2007 is 11,883,081.
