    Central China Goldfields plc (the "Company")


The Company has today been informed that following the purchase of 250,000
shares on the 29th November 2005, Mr Paul McGroary and Ms Tipakorn
Anuvatnujotikul now jointly hold 1,780,000 shares in Central China Goldfields
plc.

This represents 3.4% of the issued share capital of the Company on the basis
that the Company has 52,245,000 ordinary shares in issue.
