Global Energy Development PLC, the Latin America focused petroleum exploitation, development and production company (LSE-AIM: "GED") was notified on 17 October 2011 that on 14 October 2011, David Quint, a director of the Company, purchased 2,500 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company at 100p per share.

Following this purchase, Mr. Quint has a beneficial interest in 106,890 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company representing 0.30% of the issued share capital of the Company.
