                             HOLDING IN THE COMPANY


Formjet plc ("the Company") received on 21st March 2007 an initial notification
of major interest, in compliance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules,
from First State Investment Management (UK) Limited that it has indirect voting
rights over 9,609,570 ordinary shares of 0.2p each in the Company, representing
7.4049% of the voting capital of the Company.

Within this holding are the following interests -

*     Vidacos Nominees Limited as nominee for First State Investments AIM VCT
plc in 6,666,667 (approximately 5.14%) voting rights

*     HSBC Global Custody (Nominee) UK Limited as nominee for FSGUF UK Growth
Fund in 1,009,449 (approximately 0.78%) voting rights, and

*     Vidacos Nominees Limited as nominee for FS British Opportunities Fund,
sub-fund for First State Investments ICVC in 1,933,404 (approximately 1.49%)
voting rights.
