    The Board has been notified today that under the Clipper Windpower Plc Executive Share Option Scheme 2005 (the "Scheme"), options over
20,144 new ordinary shares of 10P each in the Company have been exercised.

    Accordingly, application has been made for 20,144 new ordinary shares ranking pari passu with the existing ordinary shares, to be
admitted to trading on AIM 2 June 2008.

    Following this, the number of shares in issue will be 129,565,350.
